Lizz is the co-founder of Anti-Predator Project. Born and raised in northeast Iowa, Lizz moved to Miami in 2008. She currently works for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office as a Commuincations Officer. She has a passion for helping bring an end to human trafficking in the United States and has been extremely instrumental in the development of Anti-Predator Project and what it stands for. She holds an associates degree in marketing management from Northeast Iowa Community College.
Seth was born and raised in Central Illinois and attended Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice. In 2006 he moved to Miami and worked in private security at a gated residential community and country club in Coral Gables. After working there for a little over a year, he was promoted to site supervisor of a team of 8 to 10 security officers. In 2008, Seth accepted his current position as a Federal Background Investigator for Key Point Government Solutions, conducting background investigations for various federal positions which require national security clearances for the U.S. Government. Seth is married with two daughters and resides in the Kendall area of Miami.
Since becoming involved in anti-trafficking initiatives in 2005, Shivanna has become a leader in the movement, raising local community awareness, hosting donation drives for victims, and providing services to victims. She has worked closely with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as well as lobbied on capitol hill for human rights issues.
After working with child soldiers in Africa, and trafficking victims in India, Shivanna returned to the states where she currently serves as a Physician Assistant and continues to educate health care providers on victim identification and provides medical services to survivors of Human Trafficking.
Warren spent 13 years as a corrections officer with the Homestead Police Department before joining the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as an inspector for 9 years. He also spent 3 years as an instructor at the Miami-Dade Police Academy. Warren has since relocated to Central Florida where he currently works for the Florida Department of Buisness & Professional Regulation as an unlicensed activity investigator.
Eddie is a life long resident of Miami and is very passionate about stopping the human trafficking epidemic here in South Florida. He is a founding member of the board and is the acting Secretary. He holds a bachelors degree in computer engineering and works for a information technology firm in Doral. Eddie is married and resides in the Miami area with his wife.
Dr. Santarvis Brown was born in Miami, FL and is a product of Miami Dade County Public Schools. He attended Florida Memorial University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy with a minor in Public Administration. Additionally, he holds graduate degrees from Liberty University, Columbia Southern University, and California Coast University.. He is an ordained Itinerant Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church where he serves as pastor at St. Stephens AME Church in Miami Gardens, FL.
An educator and education advocate at heart he has served in a variety of positions ranging from a classroom teacher to Department of Education Director. He currently serves on the faculty at Miami Dade College Medical Campus and the Project Director for the Communities of Interest.
He has served on the Miami Dade Community Action Agency Board of Directors since 2009, where he chairs the Youth Initiative Committee in addition to serving on various other boards.
He is married with two sons.
